Lokoja Forum of Patriots Congratulates CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi

The Lokoja Forum of Patriots (LFP) has congratulated Commissioner of Police Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi on his recent appointment as the FCT Commissioner of Police.

In a statement released on Thursday, LFP Chairman Alhaji Idris Baba’Ango praised CP Sanusi for his dedication, professionalism, and commitment to ensuring law and order in his previous postings.

The forum expressed confidence that CP Sanusi would bring effective leadership, stronger community policing, and improved security across the Federal Capital Territory.

Alhaji Baba’Ango urged residents, community leaders, and security agencies to collaborate closely with the new CP to tackle crime and emerging security challenges.

The LFP also commended the federal government for appointing an experienced officer, noting that CP Sanusi’s track record reflects his ability to manage complex security situations with integrity.

“CP Sanusi has demonstrated outstanding leadership in his past assignments. We are confident he will continue to uphold justice and enhance public safety in the FCT,” the statement read.

The forum further encouraged the public to support CP Sanusi’s initiatives, stressing that partnership between the police and the community is key to reducing crime and promoting safety.

Alhaji Baba’Ango highlighted that effective policing requires trust, transparency, and accountability, urging the new CP to prioritize these values in all operations.

The statement also called on other law enforcement agencies to work hand-in-hand with the FCT Police Command under CP Sanusi’s leadership to ensure a secure environment for residents, businesses, and government institutions.

In closing, the LFP prayed for God’s guidance, protection, and success for CP Sanusi as he assumes his new responsibilities, expressing optimism that his tenure would usher in stability, peace, and progress in the FCT.
