Birthday: Lokoja Women for Karimi Celebrate Senator’s Wife

Lokoja Women for Karimi have celebrated the wife of Sunday Karimi, Mrs. Stellamaris Karimi, with a colourful birthday ceremony held in Lokoja.

The event, which took place on Friday at Treasures, attracted a large turnout of supporters, associates, and well-wishers who gathered to honour the celebrant.

Special prayers were offered for Mrs. Stellamaris Karimi by Hon. Ann Ojagu, who prayed for her continued good health, wisdom, and prosperity, and also prayed for the return of Senator Sunday Karimi for a second term in office. Also speaking, the chairperson of the group, Hajiya Nafisat Usman, wished the celebrant many more years of impactful life and happiness.

Hon. Ann Ojagu, who supervised the cutting of the birthday cake, described Mrs. Karimi as a woman of virtue and compassion, highlighting her support for women and commitment to community development initiatives.

In their separate remarks, members of the group commended the celebrant for her humility and dedication to humanitarian causes, particularly her efforts in empowering women and supporting vulnerable groups within the community.

Sunday Karimi, who represents Kogi West Senatorial District, is widely known for his grassroots political engagement and development-focused initiatives across the district, especially in areas of youth and women empowerment.

The highlight of the event was the cutting of the birthday cake, which was greeted with cheers and applause from attendees. The celebration also featured music and dancing, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.

Some attendees took turns to deliver goodwill messages, describing Mrs. Stellamaris Karimi as a pillar of support to her husband and a source of inspiration to many women in Lokoja and beyond.

The event ended on a high note, with renewed pledges of unity and continued support among members of Lokoja Women for Karimi, as they reaffirmed their commitment to promoting community development and enhancing women’s participation in leadership
