A former pioneer Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Hadi Ametuo, has formally reunited with the Audu/Faleke political family, declaring his unwavering loyalty to the group as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum.

Ametuo made the declaration during a meeting with key leaders of the Audu/Faleke political family in Abuja, where he said he had resolved to put all past misunderstandings behind him in the interest of the unity and progress of the APC in Kogi State.

The former APC chairman described his return as a homecoming, stressing that the Audu/Faleke political structure remains one of the strongest forces within the party and is committed to strengthening the APC ahead of future electoral contests.

He pledged to work with other stakeholders to mobilise support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and contribute to the consolidation of the party’s structure across Kogi State.

Ametuo also called on party members to embrace reconciliation, unity and collective responsibility, noting that internal cohesion would be critical to the APC’s success in the 2027 general elections.

Leaders of the Audu/Faleke political family welcomed Ametuo back into the fold, describing his return as a significant boost to the growing coalition of party faithful rallying around the political family.

They expressed confidence that his experience, leadership and grassroots influence would further strengthen the APC in Kogi State and enhance ongoing consultations aimed at building a united front ahead of the next electoral cycle.

The meeting, held in Abuja, was attended by prominent members of the Audu/Faleke political family and other APC stakeholders, who reiterated their commitment to unity, reconciliation and support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Political observers believe Ametuo’s return adds to the series of recent defections and reconciliations within the APC in Kogi State, signalling continued realignments as preparations for the 2027 elections intensify.
