Bar. Hajiya Halima Alfa, a prominent woman leader and one of the key mobilizers of the Audu/Faleke Political Family during the 2015 governorship campaign in Kogi State, has reaffirmed her unwavering loyalty to the political family following a strategic visit to the Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shaibu Abubakar Audu.
During the meeting, Hajiya Halima pledged her total commitment to the Audu/Faleke Political Family and declared her full support for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
She commended the reconciliation drive spearheaded by the leader of the Audu/Faleke Political Family, James Abiodun Faleke, describing the initiative as a major step toward strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State.
According to her, the reconciliation efforts have continued to unite members of the political family and position the APC for greater electoral success in future elections.
She described Hon. Faleke as a leader who believes in inclusive leadership and remains committed to advancing President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda across Kogi State and the country.
Hajiya Halima also praised Prince Shaibu Abubakar Audu for his leadership in the Federal Ministry of Steel Development, particularly his role in the ongoing efforts to revive the Ajaokuta Steel Company.
She said the Minister has continued to demonstrate dedication to national service while fostering unity within the Audu/Faleke Political Family.
She described the Minister as “a true son of a lion,” noting that he is following in the footsteps of his late father, Prince Abubakar Audu, through his commitment to the development of Kogi State and Nigeria.
The woman leader appealed to members of the Audu/Faleke Political Family who had drifted away after the death of the late Prince Abubakar Audu to return and work together in the interest of the APC, urging them to support President Tinubu’s administration and contribute to the party’s success in future elections.
Also present at the meeting was Hon. Emma Ekele, former Director-General of Protocol for the Audu/Faleke 2015 Campaign Council.
The visit, according to a statement signed by Umar Isah, Head of Media, Audu/Faleke Political Family, formed part of ongoing consultations and reconciliation efforts aimed at consolidating unity among party stakeholders ahead of future political engagements in Kogi State.
