The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has congratulated the Chairperson of the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA), FCT Chapter, Hajia Maimuna Muhammed Sanusi, on the occasion of her birthday.
In a statement, the Command commended her for her nurturing leadership, exemplary character, and dedication to the welfare and unity of police families across the territory.
It noted that under her stewardship, POWA in the FCT has continued to record significant strides in promoting family support initiatives, empowerment programmes, and community engagement among officers’ spouses.
The Command further highlighted her role in fostering harmony within police families, describing her as a pillar of encouragement whose influence has positively impacted the morale and well-being of personnel.
According to the statement, her commitment to service and compassion has strengthened the bond between officers and their families, ultimately contributing to improved service delivery within the Command.
The Police Command also acknowledged her consistency in championing causes that uplift women and children within the policing community, noting that her efforts have not gone unnoticed.
It prayed for her continued strength, good health, and greater accomplishments in all her endeavours.
