The lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, has received the pioneer Chairman of the APC in Kogi State, Hon. Hadi Ametuo, during a courtesy “homecoming” visit, describing the meeting as a significant step towards strengthening unity within the Audu/Faleke political family ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting, held at Faleke’s residence in Abuja, brought together key political associates and supporters, with discussions centered on reconciliation, party cohesion, and the collective goal of ensuring the continued success of the APC in Kogi State.
Hon. Ametuo, who described the visit as a homecoming, reaffirmed his loyalty to the Audu/Faleke political family and pledged to work with all stakeholders to advance the ideals of the late Prince Abubakar Audu while supporting the leadership of Hon. Faleke.
He stressed the need for unity among party faithful, noting that only a united APC could achieve greater electoral success and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.
Responding, Hon. Faleke warmly welcomed Ametuo back into the fold and commended his decision to reunite with the political family.
Faleke emphasized that there was no room for division within the Audu/Faleke family, urging members to close ranks and work together in the overall interest of the APC and the people of Kogi State.
He maintained that the strength of the political family lies in its unity, loyalty, and commitment to the vision of the late Prince Abubakar Audu, adding that every genuine stakeholder has a role to play in building a stronger and more formidable APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
The meeting ended with prayers and renewed assurances from both leaders to continue mobilizing support for the APC, while calling on members and supporters across Kogi State to remain united and focused on the party’s success in the forthcoming elections.
