The Audu/Faleke Political Family has held a strategic meeting with Senator Sunday Karimi, representing Kogi West Senatorial District, as part of efforts to consolidate support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and candidates of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting, held earlier on Tuesday, brought together key leaders and stakeholders of the political family from across Kogi State to deliberate on strategies for strengthening the party and ensuring effective mobilisation ahead of the elections.
In attendance were the Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu; Senator Sunday Karimi; Isa Daniel (Prof), Deputy Director of Organising at the APC National Secretariat; Hon. Niyi Olayemi, a respected APC stakeholder from Kogi West; and Hon. Emmanuel Ekele, a notable stakeholder from Kogi East.
The discussions focused on strengthening unity within the Audu/Faleke Political Family and developing effective strategies for mobilising support across the three senatorial districts of Kogi East, Kogi West and Kogi Central.
The stakeholders emphasised the importance of unity, synergy, coordination and sustained grassroots engagement, stressing that early preparation and effective mobilisation would be critical to securing a decisive victory for the APC in 2027.
A key resolution reached at the meeting was the collective commitment to work for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term, as well as the success of all APC candidates at the national and state levels.
The leaders noted that the 2027 political season requires sustained engagement with the electorate and a clear message centred on continuity, development, progress and good governance.
The meeting also acknowledged the pivotal leadership role of Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, leader of the Audu/Faleke Political Family, whose guidance and commitment were described as vital to the continued growth and coordination of the group.
The stakeholders commended Faleke and other leaders of the political family for their continued efforts towards strengthening the APC and consolidating its structures across Kogi State.
They also called on supporters across the state to remain patient, steadfast and united, assuring them that plans to take the mobilisation campaign to every community, ward and local government area were already at an advanced stage.
The political family said it would continue to engage stakeholders and build a strong grassroots mobilisation network capable of delivering victory for President Tinubu and other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
