A 26-year-old lady, Malama Khadijat Zuberu, who hails from Bassa local government area of Kogi State, has appealed to kind-hearted Nigerians to urgently come to her aid to raise N4.4m for a leg surgery.
Making the appeal during an encounter with NationalWatch Tv in Lokoja, on Tuesday, Khadijat said she is suffering a femur fracture on her right leg as a child, which she managed then.
But according to her, about a year ago, she was involved in a motorbike accident wich affected same leg that was fractured when she was a child.
“Right from the day I had the accident, I have been battling with my present condition. I was referred to various Orthopedic hospitals including Jos and Kano.
“The National Orthopedic hospital, in Dalla Kano, that accepted to undertake a surgery changed me N4,440,998, which I can’t afford,” she stressed.
Also, in her request for financial assistance for Khadijat, her mother, Hussaina Zuberu, said due to the complexity of the procedure and the ongoing medical expenses, the financial burden has become overwhelming for the family.
According to her, “this is why we are reaching out to kind-hearted Nigerians with the hope that you can extend a helping hand in Khadijat’s desperate time of need. Your generous financial assistance would not only alleviate the immense financial burden that weighs heavily on the family’s shoulders but also provide us with a glimmer of hope for a healthier future.
