Kogi NNPP Chieftain, Bukky Set To Join APC

There were strong indications that a Chieftain of the  New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Kogi State, Hon Mohammed Ibukun Abubakar Bukky is set to defect to the rilling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Bukky was sighted at APC stakeholders meeting held at Hon. Sulaiman Baba-Ali’s GRA residence on Monday.

Baba-Ali, is the leader of Lokoja/Kogi local government areas APC stakeholders.

At the stakeholders meeting, Nationalwatch Tv gathering that Bukky played a leadership role.

But in an interview him shortly after the meeting, he said: “I was only priveledged joined the stakeholders meeting because it was held at my benefactor’s (Sulaiman Baba-Ali) residence. I was just an observer in the meeting.

“We came together from Abuja with him to attend the fidau prayer for a brother who lost his mother last week.

“There is nothing wrong for attending APC stakeholders meeting, after all, I was a leader in the party. I only dumped the party due to misunderstandings with some leaders then.

“Even if I defect to APC today, it is a home coming,” Bukky stressed.

When contacted, Baba-Ali who the APC stakeholders meeting was held at his instance declined comment.
