…Ahead of His Honorary Doctorate Award by Federal University Lokoja

In a gesture of recognition and solidarity, the Lokoja Consultative Forum (LCF), has presented a portrait to Senator Tunde Ogbeha, the Lakpini of Lokoja and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi State, in honour of the honorary doctorate degree to be conferred on him by the Federal University Lokoja on Saturday.

The presentation ceremony was held at Senator Ogbeha’s GRA residence in Lokoja, where members of the Forum gathered to celebrate one of the community’s most respected leaders and distinguished sons.

The portrait was presented by the Forum’s Interim Chairman, Alhaji Muhammed Attati Bozy, who described Senator Ogbeha as “a worthy ambassador of Lokoja and a patriotic Nigerian whose leadership and service to the people have stood the test of time.”

Alhaji Bozy noted that the gesture was a token of the Forum’s appreciation for Senator Ogbeha’s contributions to national unity, youth empowerment, and community development.

In his remarks, Senator Ogbeha expressed profound appreciation to the Lokoja Consultative Forum for the honour, describing the gesture as “heartwarming and deeply humbling.” He said the recognition was not just a personal achievement but a reflection of the collective progress and unity of the Lokoja community.

“I am sincerely touched by this show of love and solidarity. The Lokoja Consultative Forum has always stood for the progress of our people, and I am proud to be associated with such a noble platform,” Senator Ogbeha said.

He further commended the leadership of the Forum for their consistency in promoting dialogue, understanding, and development among indigenes and residents of Lokoja.

“This portrait is more than a gift; it is a reminder of the responsibility we all share to keep building our community. As the Lakpini of Lokoja, I will continue to use every opportunity and platform to advance the peace, unity, and prosperity of our people,” he added.

Senator Ogbeha also congratulated the Federal University Lokoja for its rapid growth and academic excellence, pledging to continue supporting thel institution in whatever capacity he can.

Members of the Forum, who witnessed the presentation, described the event as a celebration of humility, honour, and leadership, applauding Senator Ogbeha’s enduring legacy of service and integrity.
