Nda Usman Muhammed, Executive Director of the Kogi State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (KOSOPADEC) and the Galadima of Bassa Nge, describing him as the best choice to represent the Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
In a statement issued after their meeting in Lokoja on Wednesday and signed by the group’s spokesperson, Comrade Salihu Yakubu, the forum said their decision to back Engr. Nda Usman was based on his track record of integrity, competence, and people-oriented leadership.
“We are rooting for Engr. Nda Usman Muhammed because he has demonstrated uncommon commitment to the welfare of his people. His contributions to community development, education, and youth empowerment stand as a testament to his leadership capacity,” the statement said.

“He has proven beyond doubt that he understands the needs of our people. His style of leadership is inclusive, transparent, and driven by service, not personal gain,” the statement added.

“We need a leader who will not only speak for us but also deliver results. Engr. Usman’s administrative experience and humility make him the ideal choice to give our constituency the representation it truly deserves,” the group said.
They called on political leaders, traditional rulers, and opinion shapers across party lines to rally behind Engr. Nda Usman, describing his aspiration as a collective project for the advancement of Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency.
“This is not about party politics — it is about capacity, character, and competence. Engr. Nda Usman Muhammed has all it takes to move our constituency forward,” the statement concluded.
