It was a gathering of ‘who is who’ in Kogi State and beyond, Saturday, at Maigari of Lokoja Palace, as dignitaries from all walks of life gathered to witness the wedding fathia of the daughter of Musa Nagidi, the Kigudu of Lokoja and retired Assistant Comptroller of Immigration Service.
The Kigudu of Lokoja gave out his daughter, Rabi’at to her heart thrub, Adam Abdullahi Ado.
Presiding over the well-attended wedding fathia, the officiating clergy and Chief Imam of Lokoja, Sheikh Aminu Shaban admonished the new couple about marriage institution and the need to exercise fear of God and patience in the life long journey.
The renowned Islamic scholar prayed for an enduring relationship between the couple and a blissful home endeared with love and faithfulness.
Some of the eminent personalities at the glamorous event included: the
Rogan of Eggan, HRH Muhammed Alhassan, the Waziri of Lokoja, Abdulrahman Idris Baba’Ango, and
Deputy Comptroller of Custom, Abubakar Ali Bala.
Others were; Lagos-base legal practitioner, Barrister Femi Odufuye, traditional title holders, Hakimis and lawmakers.
Cream of other dignitaries from the political class, the aviation industry, the academic, security agencies, as well as the business community also sought for recognition.
The retired Assistant Comptroller of Immigration Service who was highly elated said he was so much delighted and honoured to give out his daughter in marriage, and gave her his fatherly blessings.
