Rising Insecurity: Dan Darma Family Donates Temporary Office to Karaworo Vigilante Group

The family of the Dan Darma of Lokoja, Barrister Naseer Ahmed, has donated a temporary office building located at Kabawa to the Karaworo Vigilante Group, in a move aimed at strengthening local security and supporting community safety efforts.

The keys to the building were officially presented to the Vigilante Commander, Abdullahi Minkailu, by the Hakimi of Ward C, Alhaji Abubakar Abdulkadiri Ibrahim, during a brief ceremony held on Sunday.

Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting before the handover, community leaders and stakeholders commended the Dan Darma family for the generous gesture, describing it as a clear demonstration of their commitment to the welfare and safety of the Karaworo community.

The stakeholders also issued a stern warning to criminals and other troublemakers to stay away from Karaworo, stressing that the community has resolved to give full backing to the vigilante group in its efforts to protect lives and property.

In his remarks, the Hakimi lauded the Dan Darma family for their continuous support toward community development.

He also warned youths in the area against keeping late at night and playing snookers at midnight, urging them to focus on meaningful ventures.

Receiving the keys, Commander Abdullahi Minkailu thanked the Dan Darma family and the entire Karaworo community for their support and confidence.

He pledged to make effective use of the new office to coordinate security operations and ensure peace in the area.

Residents of Karaworo have since applauded the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that will boost the morale of the vigilante group and enhance community policing efforts.
