The cry for help from a 26-year-old lady, Malama Khadijat Zuberu, suffering from a fractured leg remains unanswered, as her family once again renews their appeal to the public for urgent financial support to enable her undergo surgery at the Dala Orthopaedic Hospital in Kano.

Although a publication was earlier made about her plight, the family laments that the needed assistance is yet to come, leaving her in constant pain and despair.

According to relatives, her condition has worsened as she spends each day in tears, unable to walk or carry out even the simplest of tasks.

“She has been lying in bed for weeks, and the pain keeps getting worse. Every night she prays and hopes that someone will come to her rescue. We are begging Nigerians with kind hearts not to let her lose this chance of walking again,” a family member said with emotion.

Doctors have warned that further delay could cause lasting damage, making the surgery her only hope of recovery.

The family is therefore reminding the public, philanthropists, and government authorities that their helping hand can change the story of a young woman whose dreams now hang in the balance.

Even the smallest act of kindness, they say, could be the miracle she has been praying for.

Malama Khadijat Zuberu, who hails from Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State, needed N4.4m for the surgery.
