The Chief Imam of Isah Kutepa Central Mosque, Sheikh Muhammad Yahya Abubilat, has commenced his annual Ramadan tafsir with a passionate call on Muslims to embrace piety, unity, and sincere devotion throughout the holy month.

The tafsir, which began on the first day of Ramadan at Isah Kutepa Central Mosque, attracted a large gathering of worshippers who filled the mosque to benefit from the spiritual guidance and Quranic exegesis.

In his opening lecture, Sheikh Abubilat emphasized the importance of fasting as a means of attaining righteousness, urging Muslims to use the sacred month as an opportunity for self-reflection, repentance, and increased acts of charity.

He reminded the faithful that Ramadan is not only about abstaining from food and drink but also about purifying the heart and strengthening one’s relationship with Allah.

The Chief Imam also called on Muslims to maintain peace and harmony within their communities, stressing the need for patience, tolerance, and mutual support, especially during challenging times.

He encouraged the congregation to attend the daily tafsir sessions consistently, noting that understanding the teachings of the Holy Qur’an would guide believers toward moral discipline and spiritual growth.
