Nigeria @ 64: Mohab People’s Care Foundation Supports Lokoja School For The Deaf With Food Items, Others

In a bid to alleviate the suffering of the less privileged, a non-governmental organisation NGO in collaboration with IBI Foundation dedicated to supporting underprivileged communities, Mohab People’s Care Foundation on Tuesday provided food items and groceries to students of Lokoja School for the Deaf and Special Needs at Zango.

Presenting the items, founder of the Foundation, Muhammed Abubakar said the foundation’s mission is to support the less privileged in the society.

Abubakar said the gesture was part of the Foundation’s humanitarian welfare package for vulnerable Nigerians.

He said the foundation has the passion and drive to always make life better for the less privileged especially, vulnerable children in the society.

“It is our mission statement that we are able to help out as much as we can and we are trying our best to see that we make life better for the people.”

He said the foundation which was founded seven years ago has been able to make progress within a short period adding that it had made donations to maternity, orphanage homes and schools and has been breaking grounds.

Abubakar who is fondly called Chukwuemeka said,  providing essential goods to school for deaf and orphanage homes is the priority of the foundation and we hope to make a positive impact on those in need.

Speaking on behalf of the Lokoja School for the Deaf and Special Needs, Mrs Anifowose Ayodele, the Principal of the school appreciated the NGO for the kind gesture, noting that the support came in handy.

She urged well-to-do Nigerians to take a cue from the Mohab People’s Care and IBI Foundations.

One of the beneficiaries, Sanni Shaibu, head boy of the school also expressed gratitude to the Foundation for the food items donation, noting that the contribution will go a long way in helping to solve their problems.

Highlights of the event was demonstration of sign language and game playing by the students.
