Just weeks after his coronation, the Lokoja local government branch of Hunters Association paid a felicitation visit to the new Maigari of Lokoja, HRH Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi yesterday at his palace.
This followed his appointment onto the exalted office by the immediate past governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.
The visit was made to pay homage to the new traditional ruler and show support for his administration.
The group, led by Abubakar Sarkin Baka wished the monarch a peaceful and prosperous reign in the state in good health and sound mind.
Recall that the Maigari has received homage from more groups and individuals at his palace.
Those who paid homage to the emir include; grain sellers, businesspersons, traders, Artisans, Bank officials, Lokoja Yoruba and Igbo leaders, among others.
