The Lokoja LGA Stakeholders Forum
has held a town hall meeting in Lokoja where it called for unity among indegines.
The meeting which took place at Reverton Hotels, Lokoja on Saturday, has as its theme, “Chatting And Charting Ways Forward For The Sustainable Development of Lokoja LGA” and was convened by Hon. Ali Yakubu Zaki and some prominent indegines, assisted by Hon. Sulaiman Baba Ali.
The group, under the leadership of Hon. Sulaiman Baba Ali, explained that all committee reports would be put together and come up with a position paper.
According to Baba Ali purpose of the meeting was to have a ten years development plan for Lokoja through the committee reports.
The Stakeholders meeting which was well attended has prominent Lokoja LGA indigenes within and outside Kogi State in attendance.
