It was a gathering of notable personalities at the wedding Fatiha of late Abubakar Ola’s Son, Yusuf, which held at Adankolo in Lokoja on Friday, December 13, 2024.
The wedding fatiha between Abdulazeez Saida Zainab and Abubakar Ola Yusuf was held after Juma’at prayers.
The wedding proceedings were conducted by the Sheikh Abubakar Adamu.
Alhaji Muhammed Mallam Alkali, who stood in for the groom, gave out the dowry of N100, 000 to Alhaji Abdul Salaudeen who represented the bride at the occasion.
The event, which was attended by prominent Islamic scholars, politicians and other well wishers from across the country, witnessed a large turnout of residents.
Sheikh Abubakar Adamu prayed for unity between the bride and groom.
In his appreciation message, Hon. Muhammed Ibukunola Abubakar Bukky, elder brother of the groom congratulated the newly wedded couples.
He employed them to imbibe the spirit of tolerance, patience and love while their marriage last.
He thanked all that came to grace the ceremony and wished them happy Christmas and new year in advance.
The wedding Fatiha witnessed by thousands of well wishers, among whom were traditional rulers, title holders, top government officials and captains of industry among others.
