In preparation for the October 11, 2025 edition of Lokoja Boat Regatta, the Lokoja Forum of Patriots (LFP), on Tuesday met with Coordinators to brief them on the Forum’s level of preparedness.
Addressing the Coordinators in a meeting held at Lokoja Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) Hall on Thursday, the LFP Chairman, Alhaji Idris Baba’Ango said the boat regatta has finally been slated to hold on Saturday, October 11.
He appealed to the Coordinators to work hard and ensure that all the necessary logistics were in place for the festival.
The LFP Chairman assured the coordinators of the LFP’s commitment to the promotion of culture and empowerment of the youth in all sectors of the economy.
He thanked the Coordinators for their usual cooperation.
Responding, the Coordinators unanimously agreed to the concept, promising to work in synergy with the Forum to make the concept a success.
They also promised to rally their participants to give unwavering support towards achieving the desirable outcome.

The Lokoja Boat Regatta Festival is organised by the Lokoja Forum of Patriots LFP, celebrated annually between September and October in Lokoja to promote the cultural heritage of the confluence city and entertainment of the people.
