The Obasanjo Square and NTA Roundabouts, Lokoja designated as the venues of Thursday’s hardship protest was empty as at the time of filing this report.
There were no protesters in and around the venue except security operatives who were deployed there to maintain law and order.
Also, the residents of Lokoja stayed indoors to avoid being caught up in the planned protest.
Shop owners along Ibrahim Taiwo and Murtala Muhammed Roads, were yet to open their shops for business, but there was vehicular movement, although scanty as at the time of filing this report.
