Leaders of the “Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group”, Chief Asaje, has appealed to stakeholders and residents of Yagba land to allow Governor Ododo to do a second term in office and to support the aspiration of Hon Leke in the 2027 general election.
The forum, in a statement on Saturday 2/8/2025 at ACT Guest House in Isanlu,Yagba East LG of Kogi State, tittled “Ododo 4 Second Chance; Leke for 3rd Term”, the group endorses Ododo for second term said that the achievements of the governor so far has proven beyond doubt that he deserved a second term in office.
According to the group, following an outstanding record of achievements and the execution of excellent trailblazing projects in all sectors, Governor Ododo deserves massive support from the good people of Yagba land and Kogites at large.
A statement by the leader of the group, signed by its Secretary, said their decision was based on Ododo’s unparalleled development efforts and for giving voice to the people.
Chief Asaje explained that based on the group’s 99.9 percent performance scorecard of Governor Ododo’s administration, he has implored all its members and well meaning citizens, and appeal to all stakeholders and Yagba residents to allow the governor to serve a second term, we want to assure everyone that we shall not relent in giving our unalloyed support to this administration, the statement said.
The statement said that the group was also in support of Hon Leke’s 3rd term agenda in the 2027 general election.. lt stated that the forum regarded Hon Leke Abejide as the most suitable personality for the office come 2027, going by his records of governance in Yagba Federal Constituency, Okun land , kogi state , and his leadership prowess in Nigeria at large.
“We are so proud of Hon Leke as a dynamic and creative leader whose administration has had success and record- breaking performances in yagba land , especially in the areas of education, health, infrastructure, security, empowerment, and economy expansion (through Agribusiness), he added.
“Hon Leke Abejide has restored people’s trust in good governance and leadership, we urge all the good people of yagba land to rally round Hon Leke and support his 3rd term agenda,” he stressed.
“With the successes and achievements recorded so far by the Ododo’s administration, we believe that his one term surely deserves another term in office, Asaje stated.
“We are poised to continue to support the administration of Mr Ododo and we are geared towards endorsing him for a second term in office.
“We are ready to work with every individual and organization who believed in their agenda, Chief Asaje avert.
