Leaders of the “Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group”, Kogi State Chapter, has began to canvas support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo and Hon Leke Abejide’s re-election in 2027 elections.
In a statement signed by the National Coordinator of the group, Chief Richard Asaje, he said their decision to canvass, mobilise support for President Tinubu and Governor Ododo for a second term bid in office was based on their unparalleled development efforts and for giving a voice to the people.Their leadership had been transformative, he added.
Speaking further, he stressed that only Tinubu could lead the country on the path to self rediscovery.The has performed, he has behaved as a statesman, and not a politician, and he has has demonstrated courage, patriotism and candour. lt is our responsibility to support his continuity in office,Asaje said.
Continuing, he declared that the leaders of the group across Kogi West Senatorial District were united in their support for Ododo’s re-election.
“We are of the firm conviction that if a government in Kogi has been able to achieve so much within just two years in office in terms of projects and policies,then ,kogites are in for better and brighter future if Governor Ododo is re-elected . Governor Ododo should be allowed to complete his constitutionally mandated two terms.
“No vacancy in Lugard House. Governor Ododo deserves a second term.We are overwhelmed by the many transformational progress made by the “Flower Boy” in just two years and believed that if another term is given to him, he would change the narrative of Kogi development.
While commending the efforts of the House of Representative Member, representing Yagba Federal Constituency, HE Hon Leke Abejide who promised to initiate the Women empowerment in Lokoja – Koto axis, said the empowerment programme for the people of the Constituency would address unemployment especially among women and boosts their business.

Leaders of the group in separate remarks, promised to galvanize support across communities for their re-election in 2027.
Chief Asaje stated that “Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group” is for good leadership, good governance, and sustainable development,we are saddled with the responsibility to encourage and support these traits anywhere we find them, Asaje said.
