Dignitaries Eulogise Late Nana Fatima Bababubon At 8-Day Fidau Prayer

Top politicians and dignitaries within and outside the state have eulogised Nana Fatima Bababubon, step mother of Hon. Danladi Bababubon, former member Kogi State House of Assembly, who died and was buried on Monday, 28 January.

The death of the deceased was described as a great loss to the entire Lokoja people by bigwigs at the Fidau prayers held in her family residence at Karaworo, Lokoja, on Monday.

Also in attendance were the Lokoja local government Caretaker Chairman,
Hon. Abdullahi Adamu, top politicians, Islamic Clerics and traditional rulers among others.

In his message at the ceremony, the Lokoja local government Caretaker Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Adamu, said Late Nana Fatima, was a good mother not only to her children, but to the entire children that came across her.

“Mama never discriminated, she took us as her sons and she always gave us motherly advice that is presently assisting us in our entire human endeavour.”

He admonished the children to continue to be upright and not to lose faith in Allah.

The step son of the deceased,  Hon. Danladi Bababubon, former Kogi State House of Assembly member, expressed profound appreciation to all present for attending the eight days Fidau prayer of his late step mother.

Bababudon described the death of Nana Fatima as a great loss not only to the family but to the entire Lokoja  Kingdom.

He said; “We the children would continue to carry on with the selfless service to humanity and to God among other good legacies our mother left behind.

Hajiya Nana Fatima Bababubon, was survived with children, gand children and great grand children. She died after a brief illness at 90.
