Political momentum continues to gather around Hon. Adams Bakaso Danfulani, popularly known as Quency, as another youth group within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi Local Government Area has called on him to contest for the Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
The group, made up of vibrant youths across various wards of Kogi LG, said their appeal is driven by Quency’s proven track record as a philanthropist, grassroots mobilizer, and community leader.
They noted that his numerous empowerment initiatives have impacted the lives of young people, women, and the less privileged across the constituency.
Speaking after a strategic meeting in Koton-Karfe, on Sunday, the group’s coordinator, Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman said, “We believe Quency represents the kind of leadership our generation needs — accessible, committed, and focused on community development. His philanthropic projects have touched lives, and we are confident he will replicate this at the national level.”
The group further assured that they would mobilize massive support to ensure his victory if he heeds their call.
Quency, who currently holds the traditional title of Hardo Brini of Lokoja, is widely respected for his grassroots appeal.
Earlier, the Lokoja Youths Movement (LYM) had also endorsed him, a development political watchers say is building strong momentum within the ADC ahead of the 2027 elections.
With mounting endorsements from various youth groups, stakeholders say all eyes are now on Quency to formally declare his intention to vie for the House of Representatives seat under the ADC banner.
