Alledged Gross-Misconduct: LCF Fires It’s Chairman, Appoints Attati Bozy As Replacement.

The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Lokoja Consultative Forum (LCF) has unanimously approved the removal of it’s former Chairman, Alhaji Balla Salisu over allegation of gross-miscoduct and replaced with Alhaji Muhammad Attati Bozy, as interim chairman.

The forum also approved the appointment of Barrister Ahmed Umar Muazu, as interim Secretary and others.

These decisions, according to a statement signed by the newly appointed interim Secretary, Barrister Ahmed Umar Muazu, followed a motion at the floor of a well-attended meeting of the NEC held in Lokoja, the Kogi State Capital.

According to the statement, Barrister Muhammed Sani Inuwa was appointed Legal Adviser while Sa’ad Sani Yaro and Musa Tanimu Nasidi were appointed interim Treasurer, Director of Media and Publicity respectively.

The resolutions read in parts:

“That a resolution was unanimously reached wherein all the members present in the meeting resolved that Alhaji Bala Salisu should be remove as the Chairman of the forum and he is hereby removed.

“That the following members of the forum were appointed by the members present to serve as the interim executives  with Hon. Muhammed  Atati Bozi as the Interim Chairman, Barrister Muhammad Sani Inuwa, Legal adviser, Barrister Muhammad Umar Ahmad, Secretary, while Alhaji Sa’ad Sani Yaro and Musa Tanimu Nasidi would serve as Treasurer and the Director of Media and Publicity of the forum respectively.
