JUST IN: Dignitaries Attend 3-Day Fidau Prayer Of Late Ibrahim In Lokoja

Top politicians and Islamic Scholars within and outside the state have eulogised late Abdullahi Ladan Ibrahim, immediate elder brother to Sanni Karashi, who died and was buried on Saturday.

The death of the deceased was described as a great loss to the entire Lokoja people by bigwigs at the Fidau prayers held at the Maigari’s palace in Lokoja, Lokoja, on Monday.

Also in attendance were the Kogi State House of Assembly member representing Lokoja 1 State Constituency, Hon. Bin Ebaiya Tijjani Shehu, former Lokoja local government Caretaker Chairman, Hon. Shiru, top politicians, Islamic Clerics and traditional rulers among others.

In his message, the lawmaker said Late Abdullahi Ibrahim, was a good brother who served Lokoja community meritoriously.

He said: ”Late Abdullahi Ladan Ibrahim will continue to be remembered for his contribution to the community as a teacher, because throughout, his active live was dedicated to serving humanity and building younger generation.”

Ebaiya prayed for the soul of the late teacher and for his family to bear the lost.

He also extended his condolences to the Maigari of Lokoja, Dr. Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi and the State leader of the NUT over the loss.

In his own remarks, Shiru Lawal, admonished the children to continue to be upright and not to lose faith in Allah.

In his message of appreciation, the deceased younger brother, Sanni Karashi, expressed profound appreciation to all the came to grace the fidau prayer of his late brother.

He described the death of his brother as a great loss not only to the family but to the entire Lokoja  Kingdom.

He said; “We the family would continue to carry on with the selfless service to humanity and to God among other good legacies our brother left behind.
