Ex NNPC Manager Organises Special Prayers At Retirement

A retired Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) Manager Environment, Engr. Sulaiman Tanimu Ibrahim, on Saturday organised a special prayer session for a successful life after his retirement.

The prayer session, held at his family residence in Lokoja, had in attendance top Islamic scholars in the state as well as residents.

While speaking before the commencement of the prayers session, the representative of the Maigari of Lokoja, Abdulrahman Idris, said Former NNPC Manager Environment, Ibrahim brought tremendous development to the community and Kogi State before his retirement.

According to him, apart from the fact that many indigenes of Lokoja were recruited into the NNPC, Ibrahim also facilitated some projects, such building of classrooms in some primary schools in the area.

Speaking with journalists after the session, the Imam of Lokoja Juma’at Mosque, Sheikh Aminu Shaban, who led the prayers, informed that the retired NNPC senior staff organised the session with a view to seeking Allah’s blessings for his future endeavours.

Sheikh Shaban said Ibrahim was a proud son of the community who had contributed immensely not only to the community but also Nigeria.

According to him, the Lokoja community had nothing to reward Ibrahim other than to pray for him continuously.

In his thank-you message, Ibrahim thanked all that came to grace the occasion.
