The ancient city of Lokoja the Kogi State capital stood still on Friday as high-profile personalities stormed the city for the wedding ceremony of the Lokoja local government area chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Maikudi Bature younger brother, Gimba Bature.
The event, conducted at Kabawa residence of Alhaji Danasabe Uba Manager, was presided over by the Chief Imam of Angwan-Kura Juma’at Mosque, Sheikh Abubakar Adamu
While Bashir Isah stood in as the representative of the Bride, Malama Hadiza Uba Manager, Barrister Musa Tunduwa represented the Groom, Gimba Bature at the wedding Fatiha.
The venue was filled to capacity as many other unidentified dignitaries also graced the occasion.
The Bride received a dowry of N100,000.
In his remarks, father of the Bride, Alhaji Danasabe Uba Manager expressed gratitude to all for attending the wedding Fatiha of his daughter, Hadiza.
