According to Chief Asaje, the summit is a testament to collective resolve to confront the challenges of insecurity and to chat a path towards lasting peace and prosperity for Okun Nation.
Chief Asaje appreciated the Okun Development Initiative for organising the summit and for honouring Hon Leke Abejide with a prestigious award for progressive performance. “lt is timely and commendable, he said.
Speaking on behalf of Hon Leke Abejide, he emphasized on the importance of unity in driving progress in Okun land and the need to focused on the collective interest of the people and resources available on the land.
