GROUP PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE IN GOVERNOR ODODO’S ADMINISTRATION, CALLS ON LEKE ABEJIDE TO JOIN APC

The Leaders and stakeholders of the “Like Minds Alliance Pressure”, have passed a vote of confidence in the Kogi State governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and also called on Hon Leke Abejide to join the APC as others are clamouring for sustainable development of Yagba Land/kogi state at large.

The communique made available to newsmen shortly after the meeting also indicated that the stakeholders unanimously declare their loyalty and commitment to the leadership of Governor Ododo during the routine meeting held in Kabba at Best Way Hotels, Kabba Kogi State.

In a clear and concise communication during the meeting, participants actively listened, shared their ideas, and respectfully engaged in the discussion, ensuring that everyone felt heard and understood.

The leaders of the group commended the Ododo led- administration for its commitment towards the development of the state, noting how the administration has embarked on several landmark projects capable of turning the fortune of the state around.

In a statement, Chief Asaje described Governor Ododo as a man who is doing his, kogi is better than where he met it in terms of salary payment, physical infrastructural development going on in okun land, kogi west/the state as a whole.

So far, he has not berail his duty according to the wish of the electorates, there is no reason he will not get the vote of the masses, he said.

The leaders of the group assures their continuous support for Governor Ododo come rain, comes sunshine,stating that they appreciate what is doing and ready to follow him,rally round him,give him necessary support to achieve all aims/goals.

A communique also indicated that the people in kogi west are not signatory to do anything in the central, we are only to support the government of the day, it reads.

While harnessing collective wisdom , insights on the work strategy, and plan for collaborated efforts to move okun land and the State forward,”Leaders and stakeholders of the group appeal to Hon Leke Abejide to join the APC party,to further ensure grassroots development and human resources development in our various constituency.

This is necessary to entrenched accountability in governance and to ensure the progress of our dear State.

The communique also hailed FGYB for his spirit of sportsmanship, resilience and principle approach in making rotation of power shift to kogi west a reality after Governor Ododo’s second term of office.

FGYB has become a household name, the leadership in his hand is because of his activities to rotate power to kogi west after Ododo,he exclaimed.

We at Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group,does declared our support for Governor Ododo come year 2027 ,2027 is around the corner,”No vacancy in Lugard House”,they added.

At the end of the meeting, Chief Asaje encourage everyone to contribute and share their perspectives on more comprehensive discussions and better decision – making.

Even if all goals weren’t fully met, the meeting facilitated progress towards those goals, moving Okun land and kogi State forward.

The clear objective set down by the Group at the meeting is to make, enabling the spirit of patriotism to take root in society and people’s heart such that members of the public would proactively and consciously safeguard sovereignty,unity and progress of our dear state.

The meeting went well..We covered a lot of information and made some important decisions.

It is time for us to stand united behind the government of the day, “HE Governor Usman Ododo and the Olushola of Kogi politics,HE Alhaji Yahaya Bello from the central..So when time comes,they will have no choice than supporting us,Chief Asaje concluded.

At the end of the meeting, Chief Asaje and team paid a courtesy visit to HRH, Oba of Owe-Land,Oba Segun Areh at his palace in Kabba, they urged the monarch to use his stool to galvanize peace, unity and development of Owe-land,kabba kingdom/beyond.

The team led by Chief Richard Asaje also paid a condolence visit to HRM Oba Dele Owoniyi, Obaro of Kabba at his palace in Kabba.

Chief Asaje expressed heartfelt sympathy , while also offering prayers for strength, comfort and the fortitude to bear the immeasurable loss.
