Gambo Musa Dangana, a retired civil servant has organised a three in one special prayer session for his successful life after retirement from service, and also for his late father, Alhaji Musa, Mother, Ramatu Musa ..
The prayer session also includes a special prayer for His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi IV, the Maigari Of Lokoja and his boss, immediate past member, of House of Representative, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim.
The prayer which was held at his family compound at Madabo street in Lokoja on Sunday had in attendance top Islamic scholars in the state as well as residents.
The islamic scholar, Malam Muhammadu Aminu, who led the prayers, informed that the people that Mallam Gambo Dangana decided to organise the prayer session with a view to seek Allah’s blessings after retirement from service and to also pray for his late father and mother, calling on almighty Allah to forgive them their sins and give the them Aljannat fidaus.
In an interview with newsmen shortly after the prayer, Gambo Dangana said he also called for a special prayer for the maigari Of Lokoja for a successful one year in office, according to him, ” I humbly beseech you to guide His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir with wisdom and grace in all his endeavors. Grant him strength and courage to fulfill his duties with integrity and compassion, and may his reign bring peace and prosperity to his Lokoja community. To his boss and friend, the immediate past member of House of Representative, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, prayed for his continuous guidance and protection in all endeavours.
He commended the leadership styles of Maigari Of Lokoja, describing him as true and transparent monarch who lived with the downtrodden at the grassroots.
According to him, “We had nothing to reward my late father and mother other than to pray for them continuously”, he said.
