Shiekh Abubilat Closes 2025 Ramadan Tafsir, Urges Nigerians To Live In Peace

As Muslims allover the world approach end of the Ramadan fast, winding down the intense worship characterising the period, the Chief Imam of Abdulrazak Isah Kutepa Jummat mosque, Lokoja,
Sheikh Muhammed Yahya Abubilat, on Friday, rounded up his daily Ramadan Tafsir for this year.

In his sermon to end this year Tafsir held at Kutepa Jummat mosque in Lokoja, Shiehk Abubilat called on Nigerians to live in peace.

He also called on citizens to respect constituted authorities and also pray for peace in the country.

Sheikh Abubilat further advised the people to support government policies, adding that no government would be in place if God did not approve of it.

He stated that there would be no development if the people failed to support government in the execution of programmes meant for the good of the people.

The cleric urged Muslims to pray for the return of peace to the country stressing that peace was priceless.

“Nothing meaningful can be done without peace. Keep praying and working for it’’, he said.

In his closing remarks, Sheikh Abubilat thanked all those that contributed towards the success of this year Ramadan Tafsir.

He prayed Allah to reward them abundantly.

In his own remarks, Chairman of the session, Alhaji Isah Umar urged youths to engage themselves in self-employment instead of idling and waiting for unavailable government jobs.

According to him, many youths engage in destructive and evil acts due to idleness.

“Don’t wait for government to do everything for you, initiate something with your God-given talent and I assure you that you will be better off for it”, he said.

He commended the organizers of the annual Ramadan Tafsir, prayed Allah to continue to bless them.
