To mark the one-year anniversary of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s leadership, the Ododo Solidarity Group (OSG) held a special prayer session.
The event, which was well attended took place at the OSG President’s residence along marine road in Lokoja on Monday.
During the session, scholars led by the Chief Imam of Lokoja, Sheikh Aminu Shaban, offered prayers, seeking Allah’s guidance and protection for the Governor, ensuring that his actions benefit the people of Kogi.
The Chief Imam beseech Allah to protect Governor Ododo, his cabinet members and entire state, make Kogi State a more flourishing State under the current leadership.
In his remarks, the OSG President, Hon. Musa Shafi Maradona extolls Governor Ododo, noting that his visionary leadership has not only brought progress to Kogi State but also reinvigorated hope and unity across the State.
He the Governor’s dedication to workers’ welfare is evident in his prompt payment of salaries and arrears.
According to Maradona, that has contributed immensely to motivating civil servants and pensioners, who have served the state diligently.
He said: “We have decided to organize this prayer to beseech Allah to protect Governor Ododo, his cabinet members and entire state.
“The essence of the special prayer was also for security, peace and stability of the country.
