The Consultant, Kogi International Market, Lokoja, Comrade Adams Babangida, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, as the governor celebrates his first year in office.
In a statement released to mark the occasion, Comrade Babangida commended Governor Ododo for his landmark achievements across various sectors, emphasizing the governor’s commitment to the development of the state.
He praised Ododo for his progressive policies and his dedication to improving the lives of the people of Kogi State.
The market consultant highlighted the significant strides the Ododo administration has made in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and rural development, all of which have contributed to the overall growth of the state.
According to him, the construction of roads, bridges, schools, and hospitals across the state serves as a clear demonstration of the governor’s vision to create a better and more prosperous Kogi.
“As we celebrate the first anniversary of Governor Ododo’s administration, it is evident that his leadership has brought about substantial and positive change in Kogi State,” Babangida stressed.
“On our own part at the Kogi International Market, Lokoja, we assure traders of their continuous safety within the market environment, noting that perfect security arrangement had already been put in place.
He also emphasized the need for market leaders to uphold high sanitation standards and adhere strictly to government regulations.
The Consultant who frowned against extortion of traders by some faceless people and unauthorized construction of shops in the market warned that government would not tolerate such practice.
