JUST IN: Tears As Late Ex-Lawmaker Allah-Dey Buried In Lokoja

The remains of Ex-lawmaker who  represented Lokoja 11 State Constituency, Mustapher Abudulkarim Allah-Dey, was on Wednesday laid to rest amidst tears in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.

The burial rites were conducted by the deputy Chief Imam of Lokoja Central Mosque, Sheikh Athairu Ahmadu.

Family, friends, political associates and mourners trooped out en mass to witness the burial of the lawmaker.

Dignitaries at the burial ceremony were, Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Aliyu Umar Yusuf, member representing Lokoja 11 Constituency, Shehu Tijjani Ebaiya, Chairman Lokoja LGA, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu and members of Forum of Patriots (LFP).

The deceased, died in Okene Referer Hospital in the early hours of Wednesday, after brief illness and was taken to Lokoja for burial.

Allah-Dey, a All Progressives Congress, (APC) chieftain, represented Lokoja 11 State Constituency between 2007 – 2011.
