The remains of Alhaji Salihu Muhammed Mairago, on Saturday morning were laid to rest at Adankolo Muslim Cemetery.
The late Mairago, who was a Cheiftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kogi State joined his ancestors at the age of 53, early hours of today after a brief illness.
The Chief Imam of Gadumo Juma’at Mosque, Sheikh Imam Saleh led the Muslim faithful to pray for the diseased before he was interned.
Dignitaries at the event include the
Kogi State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Muiz Yunus, Member representing Lokoja 1 state constituency, Hon. Shehu Tijjani Ebaiya, top politicians, Islamic scholars and the diseased children among others.
Late Salihu Muhammed Mairago hails from Mozum in Bassa local government area of Kogi State.
