A front line and leading aspirant for the forthcoming Local Government election under the Social Democratic Party SDP, Chief Ben Ayo Abereoron has picked his nomination form to contest for the chairmanship of Mopamuro Local Government.
Abereoron, who is also Alara of Kabba, Ijumu and Mopamuro, while picking the form thanked all party leaders of the SDP in the area for their support and promised not to disappoint the confidence reposed in him.
Similarly some political parties in the area have equally thrown their support and endorsement to the candidature of Chief Ben Ayo Abereoron.
A leader of SDP, Hon. Joseph Omadara described Chief Abereoron as a God fearing man who believes in equity, fairness and justice.
Speaking on his plans for Mopamuro LG, he said, “My major priority if elected is to empower the youths through skills acquisition, assist our women with soft loans to improve their businesses and harness the untapped abundant resources in the local government for its development.
Mopamuro local government is rich and if we are able to harness its abundant resources, we don’t need to depend on what comes from the federation account.
