Stakeholders and religious leaders from Kabawa community in Lokoja have paid a thank you visit to His Royal Highness the Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Maikarfi IV over the conferment of traditional title of Tsonfadan Lokoja on Alhaji Ibrahim Danladi Sulaiman a.k.a Barazana.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation on Friday, Alhaji Ahmed Naibi said they visited the Maigari to register their utmost appreciation to Lokoja Emirate Council for finding their son, Alhaji Ibrahim Danladi Sulaiman worthy of the very important title of Tsonfadan Lokoja.
According to him, the Maigari’s decision to confer the title on Sulaiman is thoughtful and insightful because he is an hero in all ramifications.
“We his friends, brothers and sisters know who Alhaji Ibrahim Danladi Sulaiman is and equally know his contributions to the development of Lokoja and the State in general, thus the honour is in recognition of such,” he said.
In his response, the Maigari said that the appointment of Sulaiman is based on his meritorious service to the Lokoja Emirate, saying the the Emirate confers traditional titles to only those who deserve.
He hoped that the conferment of the title on Alhaji Ibrahim Danladi Sulaiman will lead to more blessings to the society.
Some of Friends of the new Tsonfadan Lokoja who spoke to newsmen thanked the mornarch for bestowing the traditional title of Tsonfadan Lokoja on Sulaiman.
They said Sulaiman deserve the appointment following his contribution to the Kingdom.
Highlight of the ceremony was special prayers offered by the Chief Imam of Lokoja, Shiekh Aminu Shaban and other Islamic Clerics for the Maigari.
