Lokoja-based Islamic cleric, Ustaz Muhammed Aliyu Nayashi, this evening ended his Ramadan teachings, known as Taftsir, with a strong appeal to Muslims to imbibe lessons of the Ramadan.

The Ramadan Tafsir was annually sponsored by Musa Nasidi Masjid Islamic Foundation, in Lokoja.

Below is the full text of Ustaz Nayashi’s communiqué after rounding up this year sermon:

2024 Ramadan Tafsir at late Musa Nasidi Masjid in Angwan-Kura, Lokoja.

Alhamdulillah, today we have come to the end of this year’s Tafsir with great hope and anticipations that Allah – subhanahu Wa taala – will accept our humble devotions and grant us success in this world and the hereafter. Amin.

This great Mosque, Musa Nasidi Masjid, which is named after the great Islamic leader and scholar, Alhaji Musa Nasidi, was established purposely to propagate and teach Islam in its pristine form. It has today remained one of the relics that linked their past endeavor with the present and future.

Alhamdulillah, this Ramadan has come to a near end without any significant incident of insecurity problem here.

“We however urge all Muslims to  continue to show love, forgiveness and respect to one another while the lessons of the Ramadan must reflect in our daily lives.

“We appeal to the nation’s leaders to provide employment for jobless youth while providing a permanent solution to the security challenges facing the nation.

The cleric also appealed to the citizenry to support government in its efforts at transforming the country

“We should all continue to pray for peace and progress of this nation.

Wassalamu Alaikum.
