The Kogi House of Assembly on Thursday, screened and confirmed two Board Chairmen and Members nominees forwarded to it by Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The two Board Chairmen nominees are: Chairman Hajj Commission, Sheikh Luqman Imam Abdullahi and Chairman Christian Pilgrims Commission, Christopher Ayo Olubunmi.
The nominees who were taken through question and answer sessions at the Committee of the Whole, proved their worth as they provided all answers.
The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Umar Yusuf, charged the nominees to work hard and bring their wealth of experiences to bear in their areas of assignments, for the growth and development of the state.
The nominees, in their separate remarks after the screening, promised to justify the confidence reposed in them by the governor and the assembly.
They thanked the governor for finding them worthy to serve in their various capacities.

Hajj Commission Board Members:
(1) Hon. Sariki Abdullahi Abdulkadir – Permanent Member 1
2) Mohammed Yahaya Abubilat – Permanent Member 2
(3) Haruna Dauda Okuku – Permanent Member 3
Christian Pilgrims Commission Board Members:
(1) Steven Joseph – Permanent Member 1
(2) Barnabas Oyibo – Permanent Member 2
(3) Hinmikaye Joe-Dare Babajide – Permanent Member 3
KOGI SUBEB Board Members:
(1) Alhassan Adakeke – Board Secretary
(2) Daudu Aliyu – Permanent Member 2
(3) Abdulrahman Aziz Obini – Permanent Member 3
