Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Muhammed Yahaya Bala, younger brother of late Alhaji Ida Ibrahim Momoh, has expressed profound gratitude to friends and well-wishers who joined him in prayer during and after the wedding of his brother’s daughter, Hajara Momoh.
CSP Bala, who expressed appreciation in an interview with National Watch Tv, in Lokoja on Saturday, prayed that God would assist fathers in Nigeria to witness the successful weddings of their daughters.
”On behalf of my family, I express my profound gratitude to friends and well-wishers who joined me to celebrate the wedding of my elder brother’s daughter, Hajara.
”It is my prayer that God will make it possible for us to all witness same with our children, thank you and God bless us all,” Bala prayed.
Family of late Alhaji Adamu Bapketu Momoh on Saturday gave out Hajara in marriage to Hon. Tijjani Muhammed Ozigis, a House of Representatives member representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency.
The wedding Fatiha was officiated by the Chief Imam of Lokoja, Sheikh Aminu Shaban.
In attendance at the wedding Fatiha, are, the immediate past governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Minister of Steel Development, Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, the Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Umar Yusuf Aliyu, serving and retired police officers, top government officials and politicians.
