The immediate past governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Umar Aliyu as well as house of representatives member representing Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency, Hon. Sulaiman Danladi Aguye, were among the leaders who stormed Gegu-Beki in Kogi LGA of Kogi State for the burial of late Imam Abubakar Umar
The leaders visited Gegu-Beki on Thursday to attend the burial of late Imam Abubakar Umar, the father of Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Engr Abubakar Bashir-Gegu.
The commissioner, has lost his father, Imam Abubakar Umar who died on Wednesday, at the age of 90.
His burial brought together prominent leaders who shunned their political differences to pay their last respect to the Commissioner’s father.
