A philanthropist and Lokoja-based businessman, Mallam Danjuma Dauda has named his first daughter after his late mother.
The son was named Mariam Danjuma Dauda, reflecting his late mother.
The naming ceremony took place on Wednesday at his family resident in Cantonment, Lokoja.
Dauda said he named the newly born baby after his late mother because of the recognition and respect he had for the deceased.
The celebrant, whose philanthropic gesture cut across Lokoja local government area, promised to continue to champion the quest for better education and health for the poor in the society.
The naming ceremony which was conducted by Sheikh Ibrahim Zakari, the Chief Imam of Maigari palace Mosque, featured special prayers for Nigeria and Kogi State.
