Security operatives have rescued 15 abducted persons, including 12 adults and three children, along the Itobe–Anyigba Road in Kogi State.
A video showing the moment the victims were rescued has emerged, capturing the operation and the safe recovery of the abducted persons.
The victims, comprising 12 adults and three children, were reportedly rescued during a security operation along the major highway.
The development is expected to bring relief to the families of the victims and residents of communities along the Itobe–Anyigba axis, where security concerns have persisted.
The Itobe–Anyigba Road is a major route connecting several communities in Kogi State, making sustained security operations crucial to protecting motorists, commuters and residents.
