Engr. Olushola Olumoroti, a staunch supporter of Rt. Hon. James Faleke, has criticised former lawmaker Hon. Alfred Bello over his recent remarks against the federal legislator, describing the comments as ungrateful.
Olumoroti was reacting to Bello’s appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in which the former lawmaker urged the President to call Rt. Hon. James Faleke to order, alleging that the lawmaker was fueling political crises across Kogi State and making it difficult for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to govern effectively.
Bello also warned that Faleke’s actions could negatively affect President Tinubu’s political interests if left unchecked.
Responding to the allegations, Olumoroti dismissed Bello’s claims and alleged that Rt. Hon. James Faleke had previously assisted Hon. Alfred Bello’s daughter in securing employment at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), at a time when Bello allegedly had no other avenue for assistance.
He expressed disappointment over Bello’s criticism of Faleke, alleging that the attack was intended to please what he described as “their slave master.”
“The same Rt. Hon. Faleke who helped Alfred Bello’s daughter secure a CBN job is now being talked down on just to make their slave master happy. We know who we are as properly brought up Owe people, and we are not like these people. Eyes go soon clear,” Olumoroti said.
Hon. Alfred Bello has yet to publicly respond to Olumoroti’s allegations regarding his daughter’s employment, while Rt. Hon. James Faleke has also not issued any statement on the exchange between the two men as of the time of filing this report.
