Speaking shortly after the submission, Senator Karimi said his decision to contest for another term was a personal commitment he has dedicated to God, whom he described as “the lifter of all men,” while expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve his constituents in the National Assembly.

“Today I went to submit my expression of interest and nomination form as I commit my re-election as Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Almighty God, the lifter of all men,” he stated.

Senator Karimi, who is regarded as one of the leading aspirants for the APC ticket in Kogi West, expressed appreciation to party stakeholders, supporters, and political associates for their encouragement and continued confidence in his leadership.

He also appealed to constituents across the district to support his re-election bid, noting that another term would enable him to consolidate on ongoing projects and expand his contributions at the upper legislative chamber.

“I seek the support of my constituents for re-election and another opportunity to serve my people in the Upper Legislative Chamber for another term commencing from 2027,” he added.

The senator reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and the Renewed Hope agenda, pledging continued commitment to policies aimed at improving livelihoods and strengthening democratic governance.
