The candidate of the African Democratic Congress for Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, Ahmed Danjuma Adam, has purchased his nomination form ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Adam obtained the form on Thursday at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja amid a massive show of support from party loyalists, associates, and supporters who accompanied him to the event.
The aspirant, who is the Ardo Brini of Lokoja, is a philanthropist and Abuja-based businessman widely known for his support for community development and humanitarian activities.
Speaking shortly after purchasing the form, Adam pledged to offer quality representation and work towards improving the welfare of the people of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency if elected.
He stated that his ambition was driven by the desire to bring development closer to the people through effective legislation, youth empowerment, infrastructural development, and inclusive leadership.
According to him, the people of the constituency deserve responsive leadership that understands their daily challenges and is committed to addressing them through practical policies and effective engagement.
Adam also promised to prioritize empowerment programmes for youths and women, noting that unemployment and lack of opportunities remain major concerns affecting many families in the constituency.
He further assured party members and supporters that he would carry everyone along in the political process and promote unity across Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency.
The ADC candidate called on residents to support his aspiration, stressing that his administration would focus on transparency, accountability, and people-oriented projects.
Some supporters who attended the event described Adam as a grassroots politician with the experience and compassion needed to represent the constituency effectively at the National Assembly.
The atmosphere at the party secretariat was filled with excitement as supporters chanted solidarity songs and expressed optimism over Adam’s chances in the forthcoming elections.
