A large crowd of supporters on Thursday accompanied Hon. Adam Sale, fondly called Bala Justice, to submit his letter of intent to contest for the Lokoja I State Constituency House of Assembly seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Lokoja APC Secretariat.
The supporters, made up of youths, women, and party loyalists, thronged the venue in Lokoja, chanting solidarity songs and expressing confidence in his leadership qualities and capacity to serve the people.
Notably, all Ward E APC executive members accompanied Bala Justice to the secretariat, a development widely seen by supporters as a clear indication that the aspirant has secured the endorsement and backing of his ward ahead of the party primary.
At the secretariat, the Director General of his campaign organization, Comrade Isiaka Sulaiman Feki, formally presented Bala Justice to the Lokoja Local Government party executive.
Feki explained why party members should support the aspirant during the primary, describing him as a tested grassroots politician with a strong track record of service to humanity.
According to him, Bala Justice has empowered women and youths, organized holiday lessons for students, provided boreholes in communities, and paid hospital bills for many people in the past.
Also speaking, some of his supporters praised Bala Justice for his generosity and commitment to the welfare of the people.
They noted that his philanthropic efforts had touched many lives across the constituency through educational support, assistance to the less privileged, and community development projects.
In his remarks, the Lokoja Local Government APC Chairman, Hon. Jibril Kasim Idris Aloma, commended the aspirant for the peaceful conduct of his supporters and the impressive turnout that accompanied him to the secretariat.
He noted that Bala Justice came with a large crowd, reflecting his growing acceptance and popularity among party members and supporters.
After the submission of the letter, Bala Justice and his supporters moved in a convoy around Lokoja metropolis in a show of strength and solidarity.
The procession later proceeded to Kabawa Street, where the aspirant sought the blessings of his family members ahead of the political contest.
Speaking shortly after submitting the letter, Bala Justice thanked his supporters for the massive turnout and encouragement. He promised quality representation, inclusive leadership, and effective service delivery if elected to represent Lokoja I Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly.
He said his aspiration was driven by the desire to bring development closer to the people, empower youths and women, and ensure that the voices of constituents are adequately represented.
