President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to national unity, economic growth, and democratic consolidation in a keynote address at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention.
Speaking before party leaders, delegates, and supporters gathered in Abuja, President Tinubu described the APC as a “vehicle of transformation,” noting that the ruling party remains focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians.
He urged members to remain steadfast and united, stressing that internal cohesion is critical to sustaining the party’s dominance.
The President highlighted ongoing economic reforms, acknowledging the challenges faced by citizens while expressing optimism that the policies being implemented would yield long-term benefits.
He assured Nigerians that his administration is working tirelessly to stabilize the economy, create jobs, and improve living standards.
Tinubu also commended party stakeholders, including governors, lawmakers, and grassroots mobilizers, for their continued support, noting that their contributions have strengthened the APC’s position across the country.
He called on party faithful to close ranks and avoid actions that could undermine the party’s progress.
On security, the President reiterated his government’s resolve to tackle insecurity, emphasizing ongoing efforts to equip security agencies and enhance intelligence gathering.
He maintained that peace and stability remain top priorities for his administration.
In his remarks, Tinubu urged delegates at the convention to uphold transparency and fairness in all party processes, adding that credible internal democracy is essential for the APC’s future success.
The convention witnessed the presence of top party leaders, members of the National Assembly, state governors, and other dignitaries, all expressing confidence in the leadership of the President and the direction of the party.
The APC National Convention is expected to shape key decisions within the party as it prepares for future political engagements across the country.
